    ONTARIO, Calif. (BP) -- President Jeff Iorg charged spring graduates of Gateway Seminary to share the Gospel with everyone they encounter as the sweet aroma of a triumphant Lord.

    Some aromas evoke positive emotions, Iorg said, recalling playing baseball as a boy in the shadow of huge commercial bakery. "Baseball and the smell of fresh bread go together and bring back many happy memories," he said.

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. (BP) -- Graduates of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary can draw strength for ministry from the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and their obedience to His call, President R. Albert Mohler Jr. said in his commencement address to the seminary's 2018 graduates.

    During the 220th commencement exercises on the seminary lawn May 18, 284 master's and doctoral students were present to receive degrees as part of a graduating class of 320. The 320-person class is the largest during Mohler's 25-year tenure as Southern's president. Read More

    WAKE FOREST, N.C. (BP) -- Living out the Great Commission in life and ministry was the theme of spring graduation at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

    "You all know that this was the banner under which you entered Southeastern Seminary," SEBTS President Danny Akin said, "and this will also be the banner under which you graduate."

    FORT WORTH, Texas (BP) -- During Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary's spring commencement service, May 4, President Paige Patterson charged the 244 bachelor's, master's and doctoral graduates to find the lost among the world's 7.5 billion people and assist them in any way they can.

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. (BP) -- Ministers of the Gospel are not partakers in a career, but recipients of a divine calling, R. Albert Mohler Jr. said in his commencement address May 19 to the 2017 graduates of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

    During 219th commencement exercises on the seminary lawn, 318 master's and doctoral students received degrees. A week earlier, 149 Boyce College students graduated, with the combined 467 degrees representing the largest commencement in Southern Seminary's history. Read More
