Lilly Endowment grant empowers Hispanic Baptist leaders, congregations
In a significant move to bolster Hispanic pastoral leadership and congregational vitality, the Convención Bautista Hispana de Texas (Convención) has been awarded a $1.5 million grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. The funding is designated for the "Adelante: Developing Capacity in Service of Hispanic Congregations and Leaders" initiative, a collaborative project with the National Hispanic Baptist Network (NHBN).
