But through innovative witnessing techniques -- like soccer viewing parties at churches and jazz band concerts -- evangelicals still have managed to harness the world's largest sporting event for Gospel witness.

"I don't know anything about soccer," said Justin Pierce, assistant professor in instrumental music at Oklahoma Baptist University. But "God ... Read More

DALLAS (BP) -- Current news of tariffs and trade disputes has added volatility to the financial markets due to the uncertainty it creates but likely will have little impact on long-term investors, according to analysts with GuideStone Financial Resources.

Despite initial concerns that the moves could hamper growth, global markets have generally continued to trade in a narrow range while investors evaluate other, likely more impactful, near-term economic developments. Read More

The Anchorage Equal Rights Commission (AERC) previously sued the Downtown Hope Center, a women's only homeless shelter, for not admitting a man who identified as transgender. On Jan. 26, police dropped off Timothy Coyle -- who goes by Samantha Coyle -- at the center after another ... Read More
