LifeWay Men to host Tony Evans webcast

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP) — Dallas mega-church pastor, speaker and author Tony Evans will discuss biblical manhood during a live webcast Wednesday (March 14) in conjunction with the release of a six-week “Kingdom Man” small group Bible study for use with his latest book with the same title.

The Kingdom Man study is published by LifeWay Men, a new men’s ministry within LifeWay Christian Resources’ church resources division. The book is a Focus on the Family release.

Kingdom Man, according to a LifeWay news release, “provides concepts for men to follow to help them actively pursue ways to develop and maximize the character qualities of biblical manhood in their lives.”

LifeWay’s DVD-based small group study, designed for individuals and small groups, features Evans in half-hour sessions discussing how men can dig deeper and apply the book’s content.

The 11 a.m. Central Kingdom Man Live webcast will feature special guests Super Bowl-winning coach and NBC Sunday night football analyst Tony Dungy and Evans’ daughter, author and speaker Priscilla Shirer.

Participants can log on to Kingdom Man Live webcast at Facebook.com/LifeWayMen.

Jason Ellerbrook, director of LifeWay Men, will co-host the program with Scott Mills and Kenny Luck. Mills is Ellerbrook’s regular co-host of LifeWay Men’s monthly webcast, “Stand Firm.” Luck is men’s pastor at Saddleback Church in Southern California, an author or coauthor of 17 books and founder of Every Man Ministries.

Kingdom Man Live webcast participants can sign up for a sweepstakes, with the winners being announced during the event for such prizes as a Kindle Fire, a $100 LifeWay gift card and men’s ministry materials for churches and small groups.
